Updated October 6, 2026. This policy describes JustDoIt version 1.1.1, developed by Christian J. Corpuz.
Tasks, groups, due dates, completion history and preferences are stored in the app's local database and preferences on your Android device. No account is required. The developer does not operate a task server or send your task text to AdMob. When you share text into JustDoIt, that text becomes a local task.
Optional morning and evening reminders are off by default. If enabled, JustDoIt schedules them on your device and shows only a count of unfinished tasks, not task names. Reminder times and choices stay in local app preferences and are not sent to the developer or advertising services.
Android backup is enabled. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android or your device provider may back up or transfer app data, including tasks and preferences. The developer cannot access or delete those backups. Manage backups through your device and backup-provider settings. Data may be restored when you reinstall or transfer the app.
JustDoIt shows banners on Progress, Groups, and Settings & About; the Tasks home page has no ads. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) may collect and share approximate location inferred from an IP address, device or other identifiers such as an app set ID, interactions with the app and ads, and diagnostic information such as crash logs and performance data. Google uses these data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Its SDK encrypts collected data in transit. Task content is not supplied to the advertising SDK by JustDoIt.
Because our intended audience includes ages 13–15, all ad requests use age-restricted treatment, a general-audience content limit and non-personalized advertising. Advertising-ID and Android advertising-services permissions are removed from this version. We do not collect birthdays or add an age screen.
Google's User Messaging Platform checks whether privacy consent or choices are required. Required forms are presented when you open an ad-supported page, before requesting ads. When applicable, Settings & About includes Ad privacy choices so you can review your choice. If consent cannot be obtained and the SDK does not permit ads, no ad is requested. You can also manage advertising settings on your Android device or Google account.
Google handles advertising data under its own policies and retention practices. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. JustDoIt has no developer-operated analytics, crash-reporting service, purchases or account system; advertising SDK diagnostics are described above.
Network access is used by Google's advertising and consent services. The app uses notification permission on Android 13 and later only when you enable a reminder. Boot and time-change broadcasts reschedule your enabled local reminders. Network-state and background-work permissions also support ads and task cleanup. Advertising-ID and Android advertising-services permissions are excluded. JustDoIt does not request contacts, camera, microphone, photos or precise GPS location access. Task capture and completion work without an internet connection.
Delete individual tasks or groups in the app. Completed tasks are retained for up to 90 days under the app's cleanup rules. Recurring tasks reset for reuse and unfinished tasks are carried forward. To remove all local app data, use Android Settings to clear JustDoIt's storage. Uninstalling removes local app data, but may not remove Android or provider backups. Manage those separately. The developer holds no server copy of your tasks. Google's advertising-data retention and deletion options are governed by Google.
JustDoIt is a general productivity app intended for ages 13 and older; it is not designed for children under 13. It does not ask users to enter their age. Do not enter sensitive personal information in task text you intend to share with other apps or people.
